Pioneering the Infinity Design

In 2009, a bold Californian builder approached bathomatic with a visionary concept that would push the boundaries of luxury bath design. He envisioned a grand bathing experience in a large, luxurious bath featuring an unprecedented three-drain system, including the sophisticated “infinity” design. This design, synonymous with utmost luxury, allows water to fill to the rim and cascade into a surrounding vessel, creating a serene overflow effect.

However, this ambitious idea presented significant challenges. While two drains complemented the bath’s ergonomic shape, integrating the third drain, essential for the “infinity” effect, required innovative electronic circuitry and precise logic. bathomatic’s commitment to precision meant that the third drain had to not only manage extra water volume for the overflow effect but also ensure safety and optimal functionality for the whirlpool pump.

Aesthetics played a crucial role in this project. Each component, from the drains and strainer to the plug, was carefully selected to match the bath’s elegant patinated copper finish. This meticulous attention to detail extended to every bespoke adaptor, ensuring a cohesive and luxurious appearance.
